Post Licence Training
Driving is often the most dangerous job activity for many people and, of course, for many it can be the primary purpose of their job. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2020 road accidents are among the leading causes of death globally.
Road accidents represent the eighth cause of death for all age groups and are the leading cause of death for children and young adults aged between 5 and 29. In total, approximately 1.35 million people die in road accidents each year, and between 20 and 50 million additional people suffer non-fatal injuries, many of whom become disabled as a result of their injuries. These injuries cause significant economic losses to individuals, their families, and nations as a whole. The WHO estimates that road accidents cost most countries around 3% of their gross domestic product.
For more than twenty years we have been dealing with corporate training at a national and international level, both independently and in collaboration with global partners (VVCR, DRIVETECH, CEPA, EFA).
Currently we are aligned with the Global Driving Standards Certification (GDC).
Based on best practices from around the world, GDC has developed a global standard for safe driving. Many countries use some form of practical exam to assess the competence of drivers before issuing a driving licence. Basic practical driving exams cannot accommodate the wide range of vehicle performance and dimensions, new technology and human factors that drivers are exposed to throughout their lives. The GDC Driving Standard goes beyond basic vehicle control skills to include attitudinal and behavioral factors which, over the past 20 years, have been shown to have a significant influence on a driver's likelihood of having a collision.
Our staff helps companies manage driver risk and keep people safe at work. Our trainers help drivers save lives, save money and protect company reputations. Driving is one of the most dangerous activities that employees often perform, so driver safety cannot be left to chance.
Our training can really change driver behavior.
We organize courses tailored to the needs of our customers (safe driving, defensive driving, eco driving, electric cars) in Italian, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
Historically, the most popular post-licensing courses are half-day defensive driving formats.
After profiling the participant through our HPT Training application (a self-assessment of the perception of dangers, a short reactivity test and some technical questions on the correct behavior to adopt to avoid accidents) a short theoretical session takes place followed by training practice. Courses can be individual, or aimed at multiple people. Please contact us to request more information about our offers, respecting your needs.
